Other interesting sites to visit in Hana include Kipahulu National Park (Seven Sacred Pools), Waianapanapa State Park and Beach, Hana Bay, (home of Hana Canoe Club), Hana Cultural Center Museum, Hotel Hana Maui, Waioka Pond (Venus Pools) which is a favorite sea side pool with jumping rocks that test your courage located within 1 mile of Hale Ho'okipa. Ho'okipa means in Hawaiian “to welcome you” which this property does. Enjoy sunrises out of the ocean and views of the Big Island of Hawai'i on clear days.
